About Me

I live in the beautiful city of Halifax with my husband, two dogs, an adventurous 2 year old son and new baby girl. I love to play. I love to make things. I love to explore. I love balloons, forts made out of bedsheets, dressing up, parades, holiday’s, surprises, messy art, cookies and color. Fortunately, my 2 year old boy loves these things as well…if possible more than I do. With the addition of baby girl, my working mom status is put on hold for a year so that D (our 2 year old) can slowly help me introduce baby girl to the unabashed silliness and whirlwind of activity that tends to characterize our home. Our laundry is rarely folded and there are few surfaces in our home free of paint or unidentified stickiness, but you can always find stickers and crayons stashed under the coffee table, there is usually an experimental art project drying in the kitchen and there is pirate treasure in every drawer. I’ve decided to start this blog to share my adventures in momming, playing through the rest of 2013 day by day.
